I think that we should have Earth day one day a year. That way people will acknolowedge something needs to change. It shows more importance if we make one day out of the year just for Earth day. But I do think that we shuld still do the same things that we do on Earth day. We should always be thinking about ways we can help save the earth.
This class has really influenced me to become better at conservering. I dont keep the water on while brushing my teeth etc. I think that every little thing counts now and before I didnt really think I had any impact on the eath. But I now know thats wrong.
Everyone needs to start treating the environment with respect!

I agree with how you said everyone needs to start treating the environment with respect. .. it's just too bad that we have to designate a day to promote "keep our planet clean" day if you will..
ReplyDeleteTo me, everyday is earth day and I believe we set one day aside to inform ignorant people how they should love and care for the earth just like you & I do...
I agree that earth is necessary for us to learn about the problems and solutions available. Also, maybe even have more that one earth day. Each having a different topic to cover. Also, this class has also changed my views and way i think about the topics that are presented in this class.
ReplyDeleteI like what you said about conservation. Because of this class I am more conservative with how I consume and what I consume. The Earth Day projects really helped me with this because they showed alternative methods for conserving resources. Like you said not letting the water run while brushing my teeth is one, taking shorter showers, and even not wasting water to wash off the driveway.
